Kuby

At Neo Family, we have selected Kuby, the shape sorter from OPPI that combines bio-silicone and painted wood. Its flexible cube holds wooden shapes that the child must recognize, grasp, and then slide into the correct opening. A sorting toy accessible from the age of one.

Why we love it? For its long-lasting play value. The interchangeable panels, featuring geometric shapes or numbers, change the difficulty and renew interest over the weeks. The child develops fine motor skills, logic, and object permanence: what they no longer see still exists inside the cube. The cube, composed of 20% bio-silicone, opens from the bottom, which allows for free exploration and the joy of emptying everything out.

Gift idea: a first birthday gift that combines natural materials and playful learning, very pleasant to display in a living room. It can be enhanced with the Letters & Sky expansion, sold separately, which adds eight painted wooden shapes. A duo to gift together to extend the fun.
